MyAviation Magazine, in conjunction with Aeromedical Asia 2027, is pleased to announce Sunway Medical Centre, Sunway City as the recipient of the Best Aeromedical & Critical Care Patient Transfer Hospital 2026 editorial recognition.
The recognition follows the completion of an initiative comprising a public-poll component and a separate editorial/aeromedical assessment. Sunway Medical Centre concluded the public-poll component as the leading hospital.
The editorial assessment considered publicly available information relevant specifically to critical-care capability, medical evacuation, patient-transfer coordination, emergency services and international patient support.
Sunway Medical Centre publicly reports nearly 90 licensed critical-care beds, with capacity to expand to 120, supported by more than 170 healthcare professionals within its critical-care services. Its adult critical-care units handle more than 4,500 admissions annually.
The hospital also provides medical-evacuation support for patients requiring transfer to Sunway Medical Centre, including coordination involving air ambulance, ground ambulance and hospital-to-hospital transfer arrangements.
Its 24-hour Accident & Emergency Department and international patient services further support the coordination and management of patients requiring emergency, specialist and cross-border healthcare services.
Recognition at Aeromedical Asia 2027
Sunway Medical Centre will be invited to receive the recognition during Aeromedical Asia 2027, 17–18 February 2027 at Subang SkyPark, Selangor.
As part of the recognition, Sunway Medical Centre will also be invited to participate through a complimentary Official Recognition Showcase, providing an opportunity to present its relevant critical-care, medical-evacuation, international patient and patient-transfer services to the aeromedical and critical-care transport community.
MyAviation Magazine will extend five complimentary advertising/editorial placements, together with a dedicated advertorial/editorial feature highlighting Sunway Medical Centre and its documented role within the critical-care patient-transfer and medical-evacuation ecosystem.
