An Original Interview Series by MyAviation Magazine
Aviation is more than aircraft, technology and operations. Behind every flight, every decision and every achievement are people with experiences worth sharing.
Aviation Coffee Talk is a new interview series presented by MyAviation Magazine and hosted by Adam S. Kumar, Managing Publisher.
Scheduled to begin in January 2027, the programme will bring together aviation professionals, industry leaders, entrepreneurs, healthcare specialists and individuals whose personal journeys offer unique perspectives on the aviation world.
Through relaxed, meaningful conversations, Aviation Coffee Talk will explore the challenges, decisions and experiences that shape people’s lives and careers.
Beginning in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, the series aims to travel across Asia and beyond, connecting audiences with voices from different backgrounds and aviation disciplines.
OUR FIRST CONVERSATION
Beyond the Medevac Mission: A Patient’s Story
We often hear aeromedical operators discussing successful medical evacuation missions. We learn about aircraft capabilities, medical teams and the coordination required to transport critically ill patients.
But what does the experience feel like for the patient?
Our proposed opening episode will explore medical evacuation through the eyes of someone who has personally experienced the journey.
The conversation will examine the patient’s concerns, interactions with medical professionals, feelings of safety and the importance of compassionate care.
It will also provide an opportunity to understand what patients value most during medical transportation and what the aeromedical industry can learn from their experiences.
Because a successful mission is not only about reaching the destination. The patient’s experience matters too.
