EFINAIR MyJets International Sdn. Bhd., through its specialised aeromedical division, Lifedot Medevac, today announced the signing of a Strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with EMTACS – Emergency Medical Transport Accreditation & Consulting Services, Belgium.
The Memorandum of Understanding establishes a formal framework for cooperation between the two organisations in areas including advisory services, consultancy, professional education, curriculum development, faculty collaboration, research, knowledge exchange and other mutually agreed initiatives relating to aeromedical and critical care transport. The collaboration reflects the shared intention of both organisations to promote professional development and strengthen international cooperation through educational and advisory initiatives.
The signing of the Memorandum of Understanding represents another strategic milestone in the continued development of Lifedot Aeromedical Academy, an educational initiative established by Lifedot Medevac to support professional learning and competency development for healthcare professionals involved in aeromedical and critical care transport.
As part of the collaboration, Mr. Alex Van Lierde, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of EMTACS, has been appointed as Director of International Development, Lifedot Aeromedical Academy.
The appointment is a non-executive advisory role and reflects the Academy’s commitment to strengthening international engagement, professional collaboration and educational development. In this capacity, Mr. Van Lierde will contribute strategic guidance in support of international cooperation, educational initiatives, faculty collaboration and curriculum development within the scope of the Memorandum of Understanding.
Under the Memorandum of Understanding, the Parties intend to explore collaboration across a range of professional activities, including:
Advisory and consultancy relating to emergency medical transport and aeromedical practice.
Development and enhancement of professional education programmes.
Curriculum development and educational innovation.
Faculty collaboration and subject matter expertise.
Workshops, seminars and professional conferences.
Research, publications and knowledge exchange.
Strategic international cooperation in support of professional development.
In accordance with the Memorandum of Understanding, Lifedot Medevac shall continue to own, operate and manage Lifedot Aeromedical Academy, including the planning, administration, organisation, quality management and delivery of its educational programmes. EMTACS will participate as an international collaborating organisation within the agreed framework of cooperation.
